damned if you don't

I had a v uneventful day - I was surprisingly fairly productive despite it being foggy this morning and incredibly windy this afternoon, but perhaps that was because I am on the verge of vacation and am feeling the urge to get everything done before I go. Or perhaps it's because half the company is already on vacation and so I don't have as many meetings. Either way, I got up and did some work before my first meeting, then did some slogging, and then took a break to have leftover Indian food from my Des Moines excursion for lunch.

I slogged some more this afternoon, and I had meetings until six because that was the only time I could get a certain subset of us together for annual planning conversations. But then I slacked off and made chili for dinner, which I prepped while also cleaning up the kitchen, packaging some hamburger I bought last week, and generally getting tings done. [Censored] and I enjoyed the chili while the wind continued howling outside, and then I came upstairs, took care of various tasks, did some journaling, etc. But I have failed to go to bed because I was just aimlessly scrolling / dozing, so I need to rectify that immediately - goodnight!
