I got up and wrote this morning before work, and then I slogged all day. This continued through dinner time - someone asked if I could chat just after I started my rice cooker, and I said yes, but that chat lasted for an hour. So it turned into an impromptu cooking show (for them), since we kept talking on video while I chopped tofu and peppers and mixed up the sauce for a stir fry. I did eventually stop the call just in time to actually stir fry everything, and I had just enough time to eat and put away the leftover before dashing into town for a meeting of my secret society.
The meeting was good, and the program after was excellent - Donna showed us her button collection, which was cooler than it probably sounds. Then I came home and said hi to [censored] and discussed renovation plans, which has been a topic of conversation more than I think either of us ever thought it would be. And then I came upstairs, got ready for bed, did a bit of journaling, etc. And now I must sleep - goodnight!
