Day Six Photos - Bath, pt. 1

The Pump Room outside the Roman Baths - this was the preeminent spot to see and be seen during the Regency period, when people came to take the waters and gossip about each other.

Bath Abbey, rebuilt by Elizabeth I after her father destroyed the first one.

The nave of Bath Abbey, looking toward the altar. The guy at the entrance specifically mentioned that we were welcome to take photos.

Bath train station is just as lovely as the rest of the town.

Sara,

Hope you are having a good time. We're missing you. Left you a message the other day on your cellphone after I overhead one of the flight attendants on my trip to DFW mentioning the raccoons eating her expensive dog food. Wanted to let you know that the pump room picture looks very much like where they filmed the last scene in "Becoming Jane" when Jane meets the dude she turned down, later in life ... have fun on the rest of your trip! lqj
