I didn't spend any time in my summer office today - it was already like ninety degrees when I went upstairs around 9:15am, and that was too hot to contemplate sitting outside. I had to do a few hours of day job stuff this morning, and then I spent the afternoon taking care of some stuff with my parents (mostly related to the v. famous Round Barn, with some other technical troubleshooting sprinkled in).
We ended up having ribeyes and baked potatoes for dinner, with strawberries and cream after (yum). I also tried making margaritas again - last night's attempt had too much cointreau, and tonight's attempt was a bit too lime-y. I think I'll get it right tomorrow, but my dad is being very generous in helping me to perfect my attempts. We also watched some fine CBS programming (NCIS, which somehow actually is fine despite being on air since before television actually began) and some mediocre CBS programming (Blood and Treasure, which is a summer replacement for a reason). And now I should sleep, since I have grand plans to leave the house tomorrow - goodnight!
