The vacation glow is quickly wearing off - I could have used another week (or maybe a month). I had way too many meetings today, some of which felt like a waste of time, which always makes me surly. But I also had some meetings that I genuinely enjoyed, and I talked to some people I genuinely like, so in many ways my job could be so much worse.
But I was at the office for nine hours, and I did a couple of hours of work at home tonight, so it also could be better. I still don't have internet, despite half an hour attempting to contact Comcast tonight...but perhaps I'll resolve it tomorrow. I also didn't unpack anything when I got home - I was going to spend two hours doing house stuff before doing work stuff, but instead I ate leftover takeout and messed around on my phone (and tried to deal with Comcast). So now I need to sleep in hopes that I can pull off some work miracles tomorrow - goodnight!
