Happy birthday to my mother and to the Chandlord! I surprised neither of them, although I thought about it - instead, I worked all day, left the office a little early to buy stamps, and then spent the evening at Pizzeria Locale, where I drank wine and chatted up the bartender and wrote Christmas cards for the people at work (which are more time sensitive than the cards for my friends, since I'm leaving in two days and want to put them on desks before going).
But even though it's only ten pm, I'm calling it a night - goodnight!
