I'm not going to type anything profound tonight - I am in Berlin, in the pinkest hotel room I've ever seen in my life, and I'm about to crash for the night. My flights here were entirely uneventful; Frankfurt was vaguely annoying but not nearly as bad as some of my previous experiences there; and I got to the hotel in time to shower, unpack, eat a salad, and call my parents, which got me through to a normal bedtime without taking a nap upon arrival. I also read a really cute romance on the plane, and I slept a bit, so it was all quite easy.
But now I really need to sleep so I can acclimate tomorrow - goodnight!
