it isn't that much but it's a good start

I think today was good overall, although I continued to have a headache. I got up early enough to write for an hour before work, and I had some delightful ideas for zee book, so I'm planning to keep that energy going tomorrow.

The rest of the day involved slogging. But I ended around 5:15 and ran over to Kelly's with the intent of just picking up a package that had gotten delivered there in case I was out of town when it arrived...and I ended up staying for dinner (and drinking two capri suns, which I feel like I haven't had since college). My willpower was weak in the face (nose) of the pork tacos they'd cooked in their slow cooker, and I also know she and her husband already had covid because she was super sick and missed approx two weeks of work last fall. So, I'll have to hope that Colorado's falling case count + the relatively low chance of catching it again mean we were all safe from each other.

Sssanyway, it was great to see her and her husband, and so I enjoyed the evening and was still home before eight. Then I did some more day job work since I'm feeling behind, but I finally threw in the towel around ten. And now I am going to read a bit and go to bed - goodnight!
