Today was entirely uneventful, and I have successfully returned to ye olde Iowa. I spent some quality time with Lauren and Nathan this morning before heading to the airport, but I was still almost three hours early for my flight since I had nothing better to do. I used that time to have a leisurely lunch and do some work, so it was kinda nice to start to decompress.
Then I flew to Denver, sat in Denver for almost three hours, flew to Des Moines, got my luggage and my car, and checked into a hotel near the airport since I knew I'd be too tired to drive for an hour and a half at midnight. But I'm all settled in and ready to go to sleep so that I can get back to #smalltownlife tomorrow - goodnight!
