history in the making

I've had a v. relaxed couple of days in ye olde Iowa - mostly filled with eating beef, watching golf, and talking to my parents. I also saw Aunt B, who came down today to visit Gram and check on her bees; unlike her, I didn't bother to leave the house since it snowed most of the afternoon, which feels like a cruel joke.

But now, after writing the bare minimum to satisfy my legions of fans (hello, all two of you!), I am going to sleep - goodnight!
