cherish the love

I had an awesome first full day at my writing retreat. I had a perfect blend of writing a few hours and hanging out with my friends - but I shouldn't talk about it to most of you, since you're living in frozen hellscapes. It's not fair for me to mention that I spent the afternoon writing in the sun while watching the ocean; it's even worse to say that I spent the evening in the hot tub. I also took a long walk with Veronica, and then we all walked to dinner - we went to a place called Masters, which was super delicious.

And now I need to go to bed - hope that everyone who is in the midwest stays warm. Goodnight!
