monkey spend money

I made a lightning trip to Des Moines today, which was nice - i needed some alone time after the Christmas festivities, and I also needed to pick up tile, so it was a win-win. I got the tile I needed for the downstairs bathroom, and I had a quick and tasty sushi lunch before coming home.

I made it back in time to talk to Alyssa and admire Randy's tile backsplash installation, which is going to be amazing. Eventually, we picked up Mexican takeout, ate supper with the parents, and then suffered through [censored] winning ticket to ride again. Six skunks were involved in that, but I'll spare you the details.

And now I really must sleep - goodnight!
