Happy New Year! I had a lovely last day of 2022, mostly because I won a game of Ticket to Ride. I'm hoping this is not the best thing that happens to me in the coming year, but it was pretty good.
The rest of my day was uneventful....I made breakfast for [censored] and myself, cleaned the kitchen, and spent some time this afternoon putting away a whole bunch of small appliances while watching/listening to the Iowa State game (which went v well). [Censored] and I had dinner at the parents' house, which is where my ticket to ride victory happened. And I spent the last hour putting a masque on my face and then journaling, which is my preferred way to see out the old year and embrace the new.
And now I must sleep - goodnight!
