No blog tonight - Caroline and I spent the morning going to some Amish grocery stores (with some light rain as a v. welcome accompaniment). Then we grabbed takeout salads from Outlaw, ate them at my place, and packed up to go to Kansas City. We drove separately since she's leaving from here, but we got here in time to check in, hang out in the hotel bar, and then have dinner down the street. And after we parted ways, I did some more writing-related work in the bar before retiring to my room and writing just a tiny bit more.
And now, I really need to sleep if I'm going to be in it to win it in the morning - goodnight!
