Katie and I have boarded our flight to Italy, and we're safely ensconced and waiting to take off. Today was all about preparation - I did some errands, finished packing, watered plants, etc. We got to the airport early enough to satisfy my anxious travel heart, and I stood in line for a table at Elway's while Katie stood in line for the non-precheck security screening. We fortified ourselves with burgers and drinks to get through the flight, and now we're hoping for smooth flying and an easy transfer to Naples and then to Amalfi.
And now, I'm not going to sleep immediately, but I hope to sleep as soon as we take off. Goodnight!
