Katie and I had a fantastic last day in Rome, replete with a v extended tour of Palatine Hill, the ancient Roman Forum, and the Colosseum. I am a total nerd for history, so this was everything I want in life. Then we had an extended lunch, came back to the hotel, and happily passed our covid tests so we can get back into the US tomorrow.
After that, we wandered, then had a v extended drinks and dinner at Piazza Navona, and then wandered just a bit more before coming back and packing. And I would tell you more about all of it, but I need to sleep before our flight tomorrow - goodnight!
