The painting itself took less than an hour - spraying is crazy, since it probably took me a solid 12-15 hours of prep work for an hour of painting. And I'll have to do another bunch of hours of prep work to get ready to paint the ceiling. The pros say that rolling a bedroom is faster than spraying, and I think I believe them - but rolling my bedroom would be an excellent way to destroy my shoulder, and would require going up and down a ladder to cut in so many times that I would want to die, so I'll take the spraying prep over the rolling any day.
Eventually, I was done with that project for now (and it looks good!). I then tidied up, showered to get some of the paint and dust off me, and ate a late dinner (eight p.m. is city hours, not country hours). And then I messed around with my nails, which were looking haggard because they still had dip manicure polish on them from four and a half weeks ago, but it was all chipped and grown out and terrible. So I finally got rid of the polish, and I painted my toenails while I was at it.
And now, I really need to sleep - goodnight!
